Aim & Scope

Frontiers of Agriculture and Food Technology (FAFT) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by KevinPage. It connects agricultural production research with food technology and processing, treating the journey from field to food as one continuous system.

We welcome applied studies with clear practical value for farmers, processors and food-security planners.

Scope

FAFT publishes original research articles, review articles, case studies and short communications in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Crop production, agronomy and soil fertility
  • Post-harvest handling, storage and loss reduction
  • Food processing, preservation and packaging
  • Food chemistry, nutrition and product development
  • Food safety, quality and microbiology
  • Agricultural mechanisation and technology
  • Sustainable and climate-smart agriculture
  • Agricultural economics and food value chains
  • Food security and nutrition policy

Peer Review

Every submission goes through double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the subject. The usual time from submission to first editorial decision is 12–14 weeks. See the Peer Review Policy for details.

Originality

All manuscripts are screened for similarity with iThenticate before they go to reviewers, as set out in the Plagiarism Policy.

Open Access and Licensing

FAFT is fully open access. Authors keep the copyright in their work, which is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Article Processing Charges

There is no Article Processing Charge. Frontiers of Agriculture and Food Technology charges authors nothing at any stage of submission, peer review or publication.
