Aim & Scope
The African Journal of Fisheries Science (AJFS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by KevinPage. It supports the sustainable development of African fisheries and aquaculture through rigorous, locally grounded research.
We welcome studies from inland waters, coasts and fish farms alike, and research that links the biology of fisheries to the livelihoods that depend on them.

- Fish biology, ecology and population dynamics
- Fisheries stock assessment and management
- Aquaculture systems, nutrition and feed development

- Aquatic ecology and habitat conservation
- Post-harvest handling, processing and fish quality
- Small-scale and artisanal fisheries
- Socio-economics, trade and fisheries governance
- Climate change and aquatic ecosystems
