Aim & Scope
The African Journal of Dairy Farming and Milk Production (AJDFMP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by KevinPage. It supports productive and sustainable dairy farming across Africa by publishing research relevant to both smallholder and commercial systems.
We are keen on on-farm and field studies, and on work that turns dairy science into practical gains for producers.
Scope
AJDFMP publishes original research articles, review articles, case studies and short communications in areas including, but not limited to:
- Dairy cattle, goat and camel production systems
- Animal nutrition, feeds and forage for dairy
- Breeding, genetics and reproduction
- Animal health, welfare and mastitis control
- Milk quality, safety and hygiene
- Milk processing and dairy product technology
- Dairy economics, markets and value chains
- Smallholder dairy development and extension
- Environmental sustainability of dairy farming
