Aim & Scope
The International Journal of Medicine and Medical Sciences (IJMMS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by KevinPage. It gives clinicians and biomedical researchers a broad, rigorous home for work across the whole of human medicine.
We publish everything from carefully documented clinical findings to studies of the mechanisms behind disease, as long as the work is sound and clearly reported.
Scope
IJMMS publishes original research articles, review articles, case studies and short communications in areas including, but not limited to:
- Internal medicine and its specialties
- Surgery and perioperative care
- Paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology
- Infectious and non-communicable diseases
- Pharmacology and therapeutics
- Pathology, laboratory medicine and diagnostic imaging
- Public health, epidemiology and preventive medicine
- Biomedical sciences underpinning clinical practice
- Medical education and health services research
Peer Review
Every submission goes through double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the subject. The usual time from submission to first editorial decision is 12–14 weeks. See the Peer Review Policy for details.
Originality
All manuscripts are screened for similarity with iThenticate before they go to reviewers, as set out in the Plagiarism Policy.
Open Access and Licensing
IJMMS is fully open access. Authors keep the copyright in their work, which is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Article Processing Charges
There is no Article Processing Charge. International Journal of Medicine and Medical Sciences charges authors nothing at any stage of submission, peer review or publication.
