Aim & Scope
The International Journal of Irrigation and Water Management (IJIWM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by KevinPage. It publishes research that helps farmers, engineers and planners make better decisions about water, especially where scarcity limits what agriculture can produce.
Field studies and work from water-stressed regions are particularly welcome, alongside modelling and policy research with practical value.
Scope
IJIWM publishes original research articles, review articles, case studies and short communications in areas including, but not limited to:
- Irrigation system design, performance and modernisation
- Crop water requirements and irrigation scheduling
- Water-use efficiency and deficit irrigation
- Soil–water relations, drainage and salinity management
- Groundwater and surface-water resources for agriculture
- Remote sensing, sensors and decision-support tools for irrigation
- Wastewater reuse and non-conventional water sources
- Water governance, economics and policy
- Climate change adaptation in agricultural water management
