International Journal of Irrigation and Water Management, published by KevinPage, is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering the science, engineering, and policy of agricultural water use. We publish original research, field studies, and critical reviews on how water is managed, delivered, and conserved in irrigated agriculture, particularly in water-scarce and developing-region contexts.
Scope. We welcome submissions on (but not limited to):
- Irrigation system design and efficiency
- Water resource management and allocation in agriculture
- Drought resilience and water-scarce farming techniques
- Groundwater use and sustainable extraction
- Precision irrigation and smart water technologies
- Soil-water-plant relationships and crop water requirements
- Water policy, governance, and community irrigation management
- Climate change impacts on agricultural water availability
Peer review. Every submission undergoes double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Reviewers with a personal, financial, or institutional connection to a submitted manuscript are recused from the process.
Open access. All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, with no subscription or paywall for readers, and no fee charged to authors for publication.
Publication ethics. The journal follows COPE guidelines on authorship, data integrity, plagiarism, and conflicts of interest, with all submissions screened for originality before entering peer review.
